The United States on Saturday warned of a “concrete and credible threat” near the Kabul airport and urged its citizens to leave the area. A few days later, crowds fleeing Taliban rule in Afghanistan were fatally attacked.
A series of emergency terror warnings disrupted the evacuation work supervised by the US military, and they were forced to cooperate more closely with the Taliban in security to prevent a recurrence of the massacre at a main entrance to the facility on Thursday.
The U.S. Embassy in Kabul said in a security alert: “Due to a specific and credible threat, all U.S. citizens near Kabul Airport…should leave the airport area immediately.”
In the alert, the embassy noticed that the “South (Airport Circle) Gate, the new Ministry of the Interior and the gate near the Panjshir Gas Station on the northwest side of the airport” were threatened.

Earlier Saturday, US President Joe Biden warned that his military commander believed New attacks may come “in the next 24-36 hours”, Call this situation “extremely dangerous.”
On Thursday, dozens of Afghan civilians and 13 US troops were killed in an explosion claimed by the Daesh Khorasan organization in the area.
