After strong opposition, Hulu deleted the Astroworld documentary about Travis Scott’s deadly music festival

Roommate, after strong opposition on social media, Hulu withdrew about Travis ScottThe Astroworld tragedy from its streaming service. Earlier this week, many people were shocked to see Hulu release a new documentary series about Travis Scott’s Astroworld tragedy-however, there is clearly a strong opposition to keeping it on the company’s streaming platform.

Astronomical World Documentary Special (Titled “Astroworld: Concert from Hell”) was originally produced by KTRK, a local news station owned and operated by ABC in Houston, Texas.

In an official statement, a Hulu spokesperson explained the reason for the decision to remove the documentary from its streaming service. “This is an investigative local news special from Houston ABC13/KTRK-TV, which was originally broadcast on November 20. This is not a Hulu documentary and has since been deleted to avoid confusion,” the statement read.

The summary of “Astroworld: Concert from Hell” is as follows:

“Travis Scott’s Astroworld festival was supposed to be a concert of a lifetime. But it turned into a tragic nightmare. Look at what’s happening in the crowd, minute by minute, The young victims who were killed, and what will happen next.”

As we previously reported, Thomas Henry, a lawyer in San Antonio, Texas, officially filed a multi-billion dollar lawsuit (2 billion US dollars to be precise) on behalf of 282 victims of the deadly Astroworld music festival—and Travis Scott is the central figure…but he is not alone. The lawsuit also mentions the names of Drake, Live Nation, NRG Stadium, Apple Music and others.

When talking about filing a lawsuit, Henry said: “The defendants made a lot of money in this event. They still choose to cut corners and cut costs, putting participants at risk. My client wants to ensure that the defendants are responsible for their actions. They hope to convey the message to all performers, event organizers and promoters that what happened in Astroworld will never happen again.”
