The amazing effort of the Mumbai Indians with 235-9 in their 42 victories is the highest score of any game this season, whether in India or the UAE, and set the champion Mumbai Indians’ biggest total result in IPL history.

The total score of the two sides was 428 points, which means that Abu Dhabi is the host of the two highest-scoring matches in the Emirate.

Friday’s match kicked off a two-week world-class cricket match in Abu Dhabi. The match began on September 20 when the Kolkata Cavaliers defeated the Royal Challenger Bangalore.

Since then, Abu Dhabi cricket fans have seen 2,475 points and 91 wickets at the Zayed Cricket Ground.

A total of 15,200 supporters safely watched the game unfold. The maximum capacity for each game is 2,000, which means that the stadium’s occupancy rate in eight games is 95%.

To ensure the safety of all participants, more than 50 volunteers and bailiffs were present at each game, as well as 50 Abu Dhabi police officers and 47 Abu Dhabi cricket staff.

Since the Kolkata Cavaliers and Mumbai Indians both use Abu Dhabi cricket as their home, the venue has also conducted more than 150 hours of practice.

Kolkata Knight Riders goalkeeper and batsman Dinesh Karthik is one of many players who praised the quality of the facilities.

“(Abu Dhabi cricket) is second to none. There is a main court, two smaller courts and another court with wickets. You can run as hard as you can for the bowlers. I can say with certainty that it is the best. One of the venues travels around the world,” he said.

The 21-year-old Zayed Cricket Academy duo Raees Ayan and the 18-year-old Sailles Jaishankar were brought into the training of the Kolkata Cavaliers under the recommendation of coach Oscar Nauhaus. They played as net bowlers in the team’s setup. An important role to help the Cavaliers reach the knockout round at the expense of the Mumbai team.

“All 8 VIVO IPL matches held in Abu Dhabi were incredible. It was great to see our cricket fans return to the Zayed Cricket Stadium. We can’t wait to host another world-class tournament. To consolidate this momentum, including the ICC Men’s 2021 T20 World Cup will be held at our doorstep in the Abu Dhabi cricket match,” said Abu Dhabi Cricket Chief Executive Matt Boucher.

“We are also immensely proud of Raees and Sailles. They are an important member of the Kolkata Cavaliers. It is an incredible experience for them. It will not only have a lasting impact on their game, but also Feedback to domestic cricket in the UAE.”

Next is ICC Men’s World T20, which will be held in Abu Dhabi on October 18.

The first round match of Ireland vs the Netherlands and Namibia vs Sri Lanka will be played at the Zayed Cricket Academy on October 18. The warm-up match between Afghanistan and South Africa and the warm-up match between New Zealand and Australia will also take place at the same time on the new Tolerance Oval.
