DUBAI: The 28th edition of the Dubai Duty Free UAE Nationals Cup was held recently at Montgomery Golf Club, with 42 UAE national golfers vying for the coveted trophy.
Ahmed Al Marar clinched the title with 34 points. Meanwhile, Amir Al Barki with 33 points and Rashed Al Jassmy with 30 points were first and second respectively.

Commenting on the UAE Nationals Cup, Salah Tahlak, Co-Chief Operating Officer, Dubai Duty Free said: “Congratulations to all the winners, with a special mention to Ahmed Al Marar, DDF UAE Nationals Cup Overall Champion 2023. Thanks again to all the players for making this a great moment A true celebration of local golf in the UAE. Thanks also to everyone at Montgomery Golf Club for helping us put this event on.”
In the women’s category, Alia Al Emadi won with 33 points. The youth category had 16 competitors and was won by Rashid Al Hefeiti with an astounding 31 points.

Saeed Malik won the Men’s Closest to the Pin and Khaled Salmeen won the Men’s Longest Drive. Hamda Al Suwaidi and Alia Al Emadi won the Women’s Longest Tee and Closest Pin respectively.
Dubai Duty was represented at the ceremony by Yousef Al Khalid, Senior Manager, External Affairs and Staff Services. He was joined by Jasmin Micoyco, Projects and Events Manager, Dubai Duty Free, and Akram Skaik, Director General, Emirates Golf Federation.
