AI is our future, encodes our language, UAE minister tells graduates

The program aims to prepare employees of both government and private entities for the skills of the future, empowering them with artificial intelligence technology to enhance their digital skills, and through the use of the right tools and with experts.

The program also focuses on understanding the impact of AI adoption in critical areas, improving the ability of decision makers to analyze information from AI systems, and supporting strategic planning by analyzing the safety and ethical challenges posed by AI adoption.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, said the vision for the future of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai also serves as an active leader of the UAE, driving the UAE government to design the best for society s future.

“The UAE government is striving to achieve a comprehensive digital transformation, which we must achieve by accelerating the pace, implementing the goals and moving into the future, which depends largely on a comprehensive effort and fruitful collaboration with global companies, leading institutions, and The community adopts successful digital practices and fast access,” he said.

According to Al Olama, the three previous cohorts have demonstrated that the future is artificial intelligence, language is coding and government is digital.

Over the past three cohorts, the AI ​​program has trained more than 360 experts from more than 100 government and private entities.

The program has played an outstanding role in developing their competencies and skills in artificial intelligence and data science. The program enables state cadres to make future digital decisions and embrace AI technologies by providing an environment that includes international trainers, consultants and graduate program directors, and organizes domestic and international trips to expand their experience.

Al Olama further stated that the UAE government is continuously designing initiatives and programmes in line with the UAE AI Strategy 2031 to build the capabilities of UAE experts and develop their skills in various fields. “The government seeks to provide talent with the necessary tools to create solutions to future challenges in the digital sphere.”

Building a digital future requires accelerated implementation of aggressive technology development plans, he added.

“Initiate the program to spread AI knowledge and provide society with digital tools to facilitate working mechanisms in various important sectors, creating a path for the community to a better future,” he said.

The Minister congratulated the graduates on this monumental milestone, a stepping stone for creating a future that relies on talent, ideas, projects, innovation and efforts to build sustainable societies.
