The upcoming 12th Annual Investment Conference (AIM Global 2023) will host local and international events and forums and discuss the latest investment trends and opportunities for global economic growth.
The event, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center from May 8-10.
AIM Global 2023 will revolve around the theme “Investment Paradigm Shift: Future Investment Opportunities for Sustainable Economic Growth, Diversification and Prosperity”.
Its series of events includes a series of dialogue sessions, keynote speeches and interactive workshops to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practice, foster dialogue and collaboration, and encourage collective efforts to achieve a more sustainable and equitable financial future for all.
It will focus on two main tracks, investment and innovation and technology, which will highlight several themes covering 10 key different sectors – agriculture, energy, technology, infrastructure, manufacturing, tourism and hospitality, transport and logistics, finance, healthcare and education.
Least Developed Countries Forum
The Least Developed Countries Forum, organized in cooperation with the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), aims to shed light on key challenges facing investment promotion agencies globally, such as market analysis mechanisms, investment trends and sustainable approaches to addressing these challenges, with a special emphasis on least developed countries The country’s investment promotion agency.
İsmail Erşahin, Executive Director and CEO of WAIPA, praised the long-standing partnership between the association and the Annual Investment Conference, the world’s leading platform for investment experts, private sector representatives and international organizations to meet and exchange ideas. Future Finance Forum
The Future Finance Forum, in cooperation with the Arab Banking Union, will bring together experts and practitioners to discuss the role of cutting-edge technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, Web3 and digital currency under the theme of “Using Innovative Technology to Promote Financial Inclusion and Sustainable Development” , to promote financial access, stability and sustainability.
Forum participants will also gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities of implementing these technologies in the financial sector so that they can collaborate on concrete solutions to create a more inclusive and sustainable financial future for the Arab world.
