Low-cost carrier Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has announced two new routes between the UAE capital and Russia.
It will roll out to Russia’s Kazan and Yekaterinburg this month.
Starting December 29, there will be two weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Koltsovo International Airport on Mondays and Thursdays.
Starting the following day, December 30, there will be twice-weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Kazan International Airport on Tuesdays and Fridays.

All services will be operated using Airbus A320s. Air Arabia Group operates a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 neo-LR aircraft. Air Arabia added 10 new aircraft to its fleet in the first nine months of this year.
Abu Dhabi Air Arabia has added new routes to Kazan and Yekaterinburg and will operate 28 routes from the UAE capital to destinations including Cairo, Muscat, Sarajevo, Mumbai and Tbilisi.
Earlier this month, Air Arabia said it would also start flights from Sharjah to three Russian destinations – Ufa, Yekaterinburg and Kazan. In addition to these three routes within Russia, Air Arabia also operates three daily flights between Sharjah and Moscow.
Between July 2022 and September 2022, more than 3.9 million passengers flew with the Air Arabia Group across the airline’s six hubs in the UAE, Morocco, Egypt and Armenia. This represents a 103% increase compared to the same period last year.
