Fried chicken fans, get excited…
Abu Dhabi’s long-awaited Al Baik is about to open, although not as soon as we thought. Al Baik initially announced it would open on Wednesday 28 December, but has confirmed it will be postponed and a new opening date will be confirmed soon. After a successful opening in Dubai (now Al Baik Branch In Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates), Ajman and Sharjah, we will continue to monitor the latest opening dates for Al Baik in Abu Dhabi.
When it opens, you can feast on the brand’s signature fried chicken, falafel and shrimp at Abu Dhabi’s Al Wahda Mall. The first branch in the capital is something to look forward to, as it will be the largest Al Baik branch in the UAE, with 9,500 sq ft of space dedicated to fast food outlets in the capital. So, could this be the first Al Baik restaurant in the UAE that doesn’t have long queues?
Why are we so obsessed with Al Baik?

On July 5th, the first branch in Ajman was opened in the center of Ajman to a warm welcome, followed by the opening of the first branch of Al Baik in Al Majaz Waterfront in Sharjah in August, another branch Opened in Sharjah city center in October.
If you’re not familiar with the most popular fried chicken, the brand has been operating in Saudi Arabia for nearly 50 years, first opening in Jeddah in 1974. It has become the most popular fast food brand in the region and now has more than 100 branches across the kingdom.
