Saudi Arabia-based Al Meswak Dental Clinics Company (Al Meswak) has acquired two dental centers in Abu Dhabi as part of its strategy to expand its presence in the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Owned by UAE-based Gulf Islamic Investments (GII) and Saudi Arabia’s Jadwa Investments Company (Jadwa), Al Meswak is the largest chain of dental and dermatology clinics in Saudi Arabia, with more than 90 clinics in more than 37 Saudi cities. Al-Anees and Al-Barazi Dental Center acquired by Al-Meswak is one of the most renowned dental service providers in the Al Ain area of Abu Dhabi.
GII, a leading Shariah-compliant global alternative investment firm with over US$3 billion in assets under management, supports Al Meswak’s expansion in the UAE. GII acquired a majority stake in Al Meswak Medical Group in May 2022, in partnership with the Saudi Jadwa Investment Management and Consulting Company. A leading UAE banking group has provided substantial financial acquisition facilities to assist Al Meswak in its regional expansion.
