“Thank you so much for everyone’s concern for him, for his well-being,” Roberts said. “As many of you know, he had a knee replacement surgery, so the knee that was replaced many, many years ago had a problem and had to be replaced. Displacement. It makes it slow. It makes things a little tough.”
“It was a more difficult operation,” she continued, “so it was a bit difficult to recover from, but he did a good job moving a bit slowly. In fact, he was on the other side of me, but he wasn’t interested in participating today. Come in.”
“He just wanted to say thank you to everyone who asked about him,” she added. “Thank you so much everyone. You’ve all been so kind, generous, caring and compassionate to my family through what we’ve been through over the past few months.”

“He is trying to follow the doctor’s orders to get back to work and play as quickly as possible, so just wanted to give you an update on his condition,” she concluded.
