Alfred Enoch and Kaya Scodelario will lead the cast of the holiday film “This Christmas.”
The Christmas movie, which just finished principal photography, will premiere on Sky Cinema and streaming service NOW in December.
The all-star lineup will also include Timothy Spall, Jack Donoghue, Jeremy Irving, Alexandra Roach, Ben Miller, Joanna Scanlan, Sarah Nair , Nadia Parks, Clinton Liberty, and Robert Ames.
Set in London during a busy holiday season, This Christmas follows Adam (Enoch) and Emma (Scodelario) on their commute from the picturesque village of Langton to the city. They encounter the same passengers every day.
One morning, Adam himself broke the unspoken taboo of talking to strangers on the train and invited the entire carriage to throw their own Christmas party.
The film is produced by Vertigo Films with Allan Niblo serving as producer. Chris Foggin will direct the Christmas movie written by Alistair Galbraith.
Filming has taken place in London and Hertfordshire over the past few months. The film will be released on Sky in the UK and Ireland and Epix in the US.
Kaya, who played Claire Redfield in Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, revealed she was stunned by lifelike zombies in the video game adaptation.
The 30-year-old actress said: “One day we were filming a stunt and one of them jumped on me. I thought it was just a stunt man until he had his hair and makeup done.
“He was actually dressed up, I don’t know. So he jumped on me and I was definitely myself because it was so realistic.”
