Dubai: United Arab Emirates AlHuda Fashion Centre and Pakistan University of Management and Technology School of Design and Textiles signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly enhance the potential of the fashion and fashion industry. The MoU was signed by Dr. Aysha Zubair, Chief Operating Officer, Centre for Modest Fashion, AlHuda, and Professor Mumtaz Hassan Malik-Dean, Faculty of Design and Textiles, UMT.
Since 2019, AlHuda CMF-UAE has been working tirelessly to expand the prospects of the modest fashion industry through capacity building, consulting and consulting, research and development and publications. The main means of capacity building are in-house training, virtual training, physical training, contact visits to advanced markets, events and internships. AlHuda CMF has established many successful strategic partnerships and collaborations with various agencies, brands and other organisations around the world to support and grow the modest fashion industry.
Under the MoU, the two parties will collaborate on training programs, events and internships. Both sides believe that cooperation will help both sides make better use of each other’s resources, provide each other with more opportunities, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. Both parties recognize the importance of education to college students and teachers, and attach importance to international cooperation in educational development. Also collaborates on research and development to innovate in the Modest Fashion product line, especially Abaya fabrics and designs.
