Ali Al Qaisi-Jesse Arnett UAE Warriors trilogy ‘definitely’ coming out next year

Fouad Darwish, CEO of Palms Sports, confirms dispute between Ali Al Qaisi and Jesse Arnett over Emirates Warriors lightweight belt The third meeting is “definitely” to take place early next year.

The championship rematch was the biggest draw in three years of promotion and will now be even bigger when they meet for the third time, 1-1.

Arnett win the belt When they first met on July 2. The Canadian made a deep incision above Al Qaisi’s left eye before the circus doctor stopped the fight in the second round, angering the “royal fighter”.

Jordanian revenge for failure Arnett was guillotined in the first minute and 25 seconds of the third round at the Etihad Arena on Saturday.

“Last week’s rematch was the biggest performance we’ve made so far and the third meeting of Al Qaisi-Arnett will definitely take place early next year,” Darwish told Reuters National on Monday.

“Last Saturday’s championship rematch set a new bar for us on a record-breaking night, truly the most exciting and successful battle card the Emirates Warriors have ever seen.

“We expect the next rematch to be bigger and maybe a blockbuster game. During a very busy time for sports in Abu Dhabi, we want to use all our resources before a date is set.”

According to Darwish, UAE Warriors 33 has received messages of appreciation from mixed martial arts enthusiasts in the country, the region and the rest of the world.

“We have an endless appreciation for this battle card, and Ali Jesse’s championship rematch underscores that,” he said.

“Fan engagement and engagement through our social media and digital platforms as well as mainstream media has been fantastic.

“We’re very proud of what we’ve done. Not only brought a huge crowd to this battle card, but fans from all over the world. In terms of engagement, I’ve never seen anything like this before.”

The UAE Warriors have been able to place a number of competitive fight cards in only their third year, which Darwish believes has a lot to do with the location – Abu Dhabi.

“Being in the UAE and Abu Dhabi gives us an edge,” he said.

“Today, everyone who wants to be a hero is coming to Abu Dhabi and the UAE. We are taking advantage of that. Our next fight card is set for October and the other two are in November.

“We have plenty of fighters who want to be part of the Emirates Warriors. We take care of them. We don’t wait for them to come into the cage to take care of them. We do that when they’re home.”

Darwish noted the warm hospitality and care for the fighters under the generous patronage of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed.

“It is true that we see MMA as a business. But we also believe in building bridges by showcasing young talent, helping those in desperate need of recognition, helping them train and dealing with medical issues before and after serving with the UAE Warriors,” Darvi Shi explained.

Darwish did not compare the promotion to the likes of the UFC, Bellator, PFL (Professional Fighting League) and One Championship, but insisted they want to be the biggest and best in their own way by 2025.

“In our wildest dreams, we never thought we would get so much attention and attention on our digital platforms last Saturday,” he said.

“We have 26 fighters from 19 countries, and I don’t think any organization has been able to get fighters from 87 different countries the way we have rolled out in three years.”

The UAE Warriors plan to fight in North America outside the UAE and in a city in the region.

“We will definitely launch the first battle card outside the UAE,” Darwish added.

“We don’t have a firm date for this, but we’re getting ready to have a battle card in North America or somewhere near the region. It’s a matter of time.”
