Alibaba Cloud Upgrades Dubai Holding Data Center

Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, said it had worked with long-term partner Dubai Holding at its data center in Dubai to upgrade the facility with state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure and a wider range of analytics, database, Services in industry solutions and artificial intelligence services.

Alibaba Group said in a statement that the cooperation aims to provide customers with the best digital solutions on their digital journey.

Through the upgraded data center, Alibaba Cloud will provide local customers with a series of proven infrastructure products, such as Alibaba Cloud’s sixth-generation Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance and the latest Elastic Block Storage (EBS) service, which can provide more High computing power, higher bandwidth, lower latency and higher performance.

The latest in a series of products is designed to provide enterprise customers with a broader range of cloud services, covering networking, storage security and computing. In addition, the upgrade of the data center will include providing best-in-class cloud solutions to meet business needs and using the latest analytical tools to improve business operations and performance.

The facility will also revamp its advanced database to provide faster and more efficient data processing as well as industry-specific solutions and artificial intelligence services to address the unique challenges of client industries and achieve better outcomes, it said.

Boris Rusafov, CTO of Dubai Holding, and Daniel Jiang, General Manager of Alibaba Cloud Smart Middle East, Turkey and Africa, made the announcement at the Alibaba Cloud Day Summit in Dubai.

In the announcement, Jiang said: “We are delighted to host Alibaba Cloud Day in Dubai for the second consecutive year. Our continued partnership with Dubai Holding is in line with our commitment to continuously invest in the Middle East region and support local businesses in their digital journey.”

“By leveraging Dubai Holding’s local expertise and Alibaba Cloud’s trusted cloud-based technology, we believe our upgraded data center will be able to provide local businesses with more robust, secure and high-performance capabilities for stronger growth And better respond to the ever-changing digital landscape across the region,” he noted.

In addition to its commitment with Dubai Holding, Alibaba Cloud also revealed an enhanced partner strategy, allocating additional resources and dedicated programs to fully support partners on their local customer digital journeys in the UAE and the wider Middle East.

In order to accelerate the growth of partners, Alibaba Cloud has launched the MEA Alliance Booster Program, which provides local partners with customized business collaboration models and incentives in the MEA region, including dedicated partner management channels, additional cloud resources, and wider Product margins and expanded marketing plans.

The moves are also aimed at increasing partners’ revenue and strengthening their technical expertise. Alibaba Cloud is currently working with more than 40 partners in the Middle East and Africa region. –trade arab news agency
