Americana relaunches Wimpy in the UAE

Americana Restaurants, the largest al fresco dining and quick service operator in the Middle East, North Africa and Kazakhstan, has re-launched beloved burger brand Wimpy in the UAE.

Wimpy’s first store in the Dubai Mall food court will showcase Flippy 2, the first robot to cook in the kitchen.

Designed by Miso Robotics, an American company that transforms the restaurant industry through robotics and smart automation, Flippy 2 is a customizable robotic solution that automates a range of cooking tasks in restaurants and supports frying station consistency and Accuracy works. The innovative robotic solution was deployed at Wimpy’s new location as part of the restaurant’s vision to become the Middle East’s leading tech-first burger brand.
