Amir Albazi looking to win ESPN 45 main event with UFC in Abu Dhabi

Las Vegas – Amir Al Bazi In his first UFC headline Saturday, he didn’t lack for confidence UFC on ESPN 45.

Albazi said he recognizes that his resume doesn’t scream his undeniable top talent in title contention. However, he said this was largely indirect. He has had numerous duels against highly ranked opponents, and their failures are largely through no fault of his own.

He’s delighted that Kara-France accepted a fight with him and competed for a week, and now he’s ready to make a statement to the UFC and the rest of the 125-pound class in the spotlight of headline opportunities.

“He’s a good opponent,” Albazi said. “Of course, he’s No. 3 (in the UFC rankings). But I’m the next champ. So whoever they want to put in front of me, I’m going to be ready. … I’m going to show people Why I’m the next champion.
