General Manager Akram Al Ameer’s approach to work is hands-on. With over 28 years of experience, he has led teams at renowned hotel chains such as Jumeirah Group and Accor. His impressive resume demonstrates his success in meeting financial goals, driving team engagement, and delivering luxury experiences and high guest satisfaction.
Director of Sales and Marketing, Rahil Khan has 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry including 12 years as a commercial leader at 4 different Ritz Carlton properties in the City hotels repositioned as city resorts.
Operations Manager Nicola Mandolini’s extensive hospitality experience will help in the hotel’s repositioning. MBA alumni from the prestigious EHL Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne are experts in identifying operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implementing improvement measures.
Executive Chef Federico Villoni brings his extensive expertise and signature style acquired over 20 years of culinary excellence in Michelin-starred fine dining restaurants in the Middle East and Europe.
People and Culture Director Bernhard Kolsch joins Anantara East Mangroves from Four Seasons Resorts Seychelles and Four Seasons Resorts Desroches Island. With 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry and an MSc from the University of Liverpool, Bernhard’s mission is to ensure the sustainable development and fulfillment of human capital in hospitality.
Ali Jani, Marketing and Communications Manager, formerly Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager for Anantara Al Jabal and Al Akhdar Resort in Oman, was shortlisted for the 2019 Middle East Hospitality Industry Marketing and Communications Person of the Year. His passion for the brand is perfectly aligned with his career goal to transform the messaging of Anantara’s Eastern Mangroves.
