Applause Entertainment, part of the Aditya Birla Group, announced its foray into the southern market with a dedicated office in Chennai.
Pramod Cheruvalath (Director/Producer) of Sign of Life Productions has joined Applause as Head of Southern Content, leading the program with Producer Vighnesh Menon of Applause Entertainment.
Cheruvalath, who earlier produced Iru Dhuruvam (Tamil) for SonyLiv with Applause Entertainment, will now be responsible for building Applause’s content boards across all four southern markets to create a diverse slate of premium series and films across languages . Previously, the content studio produced series such as Humble Politian Nograj (Kannada), Vadham and Kuruthi Kalam (Tamil) in addition to the second season of Iru Dhuruvam.
