UAE residents who apply for visas from dozens of countries through VFS Global have been advised not to accept any assistance from agents claiming to be appointed by the company in the country. VFS Global said it has not appointed any agent to provide visa-related advice or services to applicants.

In a statement, the company said, “VFS Global is not affiliated with any agents (tour companies, typing offices, flight booking agents and travel insurance agents) in the UAE and cannot provide any visa-related advice to applicants. or services.” Global will not be liable for applicants seeking visa-related advice or services from any agent, or for fees paid to such agents. “

VFS Global provides Schengen visa services for Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherlands United Arab Emirates.

It explained that the decision to issue or deny visas and the processing time of visa applications are the sole prerogative of the UAE diplomatic missions. “VFS Global has no role or influence on the outcome of a visa application and will not provide any visa-related assessment advice to applicants.”
