Arabian Adventures’ events division, Arabian Adventures Meetings, Incentives and Events (AAMIE), won the prestigious SITE Crystal Award for the third time for excellence in incentive travel, Africa and the Middle East.
AAMIE was recognized for designing and staging an extraordinary multi-city event by the top staff of luxury automaker BMW. Presented by the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), the SITE Crystal Awards are considered the incentive travel industry’s highest honor.

More than 120 attendees traveled from BMW’s Belgium and Luxembourg offices to the UAE for an extensive series of multi-venue events to triumph. Over the course of five days, guests had a vivid and varied experience of the country. Beginning in Dubai, guests have the opportunity to admire the city’s shimmering cityscape and coastline splendor through sunset cruises, helicopter rides from the iconic Atlantis, The Palm, and some of the most stunning city views first-hand Dining and entertainment venues with unique views.
The AAMIE team also managed to secure group exclusive access to the Belgian and Luxembourg pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai. This exceeds client expectations for an experience that integrates guests’ local culture with the UAE.
After a successful ‘Dealer Congress’ conference, the final days of the AAMIE x BMW event culminated in the beautiful natural landscape of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. To showcase the vast desert beyond the UAE’s cityscape, the team stayed at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah Desert and enjoyed the rolling sand dunes at its incredible ‘stargazing deck’ site A special farewell dinner was held.
Eighty-five percent of attendees at the five-day extensive, multi-location and multi-city event said the UAE’s incentives had “exceeded their expectations”.
This year’s SITE Crystal Awards, held in New York City, USA, featured the toughest competition yet, with tourism, events and destination management companies from around the globe vying to take home the coveted trophy. – trade arab news agency
