Over 23,000 visitors attended 29th Version Arab Tourism Market (ATM) 2022 Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from 9-12 May Arabian Tourism Week. The event brought together industry leaders and global representatives from 112 destinations to share insights under the theme “The future of international travel and tourism“.
In partnership with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), ATM hosts a variety of conferences where travel, tourism and business professionals from around the world are able to discuss current trends and explore long-term opportunities in tourism, transport, tourism, hospitality and more.
Business travel spending in the Middle East is expected to grow 32% this year (according to the World Travel and Tourism Council), and one of the many bright spots is the region’s clear path to a sustainable recovery. This year’s showrooms have increased by more than 85% compared to the previous year, due to the expansion of specific regions in several industries and regions, including travel tech (380%), hospitality (71%), Middle East (57%), Africa (56%) , Asia (50%) and Europe (49%).
Building on the momentum of the hugely successful Expo 2020 Dubai, the event comes as industry partners and tourism professionals are welcomed to visit a vibrant networking environment to share experiences, insights and best practices to revitalize Tourism Growth – A Pandemic World.
