The Argentine Football Association (AFA) and Dubai-based airline flydubai have announced a regional partnership.
The agreement will see both partners collaborate on marketing and branding opportunities through their channels over the next four months.
The Argentine national team, known as La Albiceleste, has played in five World Cup finals and is currently the Copa America winner, a team that has won 15 titles in its history. The partnership will make flydubai the regional partner of the Argentina national team and its preferred airline in the Middle East.
Over the next few weeks, AFA and flydubai will launch a series of events around this partnership that will showcase the most valuable assets of both brands. This includes players of the Argentine national men’s soccer team and a special event with the team during their training camp in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.

For the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, flydubai will operate up to 30 daily matchday shuttles between Dubai and Doha. These matchday shuttles are offered in partnership with Qatar Airways and will provide fans with a convenient travel option to watch football matches from 21 November to 18 December. – arab trade news agency
