Earlier on Monday, female singer Ari Lennox shared on Twitter some of the troubles she encountered during her arrival in Amsterdam.
She first shared a picture of her possibly at the airport. She captioned the photo and said: “Racism. Wow, Amsterdam I was terrified. I am so happy to travel with this evil woman… I have never experienced such blatant racism.”
Then she followed up with more tweets as she expressed her anger. Ari continued, “F**k Amsterdam, F**k klm. Never in my life. F**k Amsterdam security guards. They hate black people. I just want to go home. I will never leave me again. The house is now.”
When she said: “Wow, when they are arresting me, her tweets become even more shocking. I was arrested in Amsterdam because of my reaction to a woman’s racial profiling of me.”
Reuters Confirming that Ali was arrested at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the officials added that she was detained for assaults on airline officials and allegedly being drunk in public. A spokesperson said: “Our unit found an emotional woman who will not calm down. This is why she must be detained.”
Ari Lennox recently appeared in 2021 Soul Train Award, Broadcast on Sunday. She sang her latest single “Pressure” and she also performed their new song “Unloyal” on stage with other female singer Summer Walker.
At present, it is not clear how long Ali will be held by the authorities.
