this Faculty of Engineering NYU Abu Dhabi is looking for emerging scholars to conduct important research and teach the next generation of global leaders.
You are invited to apply for a tenured position in Control Systems and Intelligent Decision Making electric Engineering (EE) program. Emphasis will be placed on: 1) Autonomous Systems, 2) Machine and Reinforcement Learning, 3) Networked Systems Control, and 4) Prediction and Networked Control. Available vacancies are at the Assistant Professor level. EE plans to invest in robotics, with facilities of excellence in air/ground and submersible agents, haptics, brain-computer interfaces, vision and autonomous systems, including its 1000m3 motion capture arena.newly established Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR) will play a key role in the application-oriented aspects of this position.NYU EE faculty work closely with NYU colleagues ECE and CSE department. NYUNY is recognized worldwide for its research in communications, robotics and control, and machine learning. qualifications
This position requires a Ph.D. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
We seek individuals who possess or have the potential to develop an excellent academic record and the ability to conduct and lead high-quality research.
Successful candidates are also expected to receive an affiliation with the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, which allows research and teaching privileges as well as access to programs and facilities in New York.
