Australian Counterterrorism Ambassador Visits Emirates Group Security Department – ​​Dubai Blog

Australian Anti-Terrorism Ambassador Roger Noble, accompanied by Australian Ambassador to the UAE Heidi Wynmore and members of the Australian diplomatic team, visited the Emirates Group’s security headquarters in Dubai. In recognition of the long-term close cooperation with Australia, the purpose of this visit was to discuss border enforcement, general crime prevention measures, aviation safety and continuous safety education, which have become the cornerstone of a strong safety culture.

The expertise and areas of excellence of the Emirates Aviation Safety Group (EGS) were highlighted during this visit, in particular:

• Its lifelong learning culture strengthens and advances aviation safety through its internal safety education program, which EGS has been cooperating with Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Western Australia.
• Implement and use the most advanced systems, combined with correct procedures to combat general cyber crimes and illegal interference with civil aviation.
• When implementing the border law enforcement security system and related functions, skilled resources and appropriate personnel are deployed.
• This is an initiative to integrate and promote border law enforcement control.
• Continued cooperation and support for one of the world’s leading AVSEC conferences hosted by Emirates Aviation Safety Group-AVSEC Global Symposium and awards from 3^road-5^day October 2021, JW Marriott Marquis Hotel, Dubai.
