UAE-based Azizi Developments has announced the signing of an agreement with Dubai South, the largest single-city development focused on aviation, logistics and real estate, to acquire 15 million square feet of land in the emirate’s most promising area of ​​growth.
However, Azizi did not disclose detailed plans for his land during a press conference held yesterday (November 21) on the opening day of Cityscape Dubai 2022.
The company said that the planning and design of the project has entered the advanced stage, and various types of hotel projects such as townhouses, villas, residential apartments, hotel apartments, three-star to five-star hotels will be developed.
It will have a wide range of amenities including swimmable crystal lagoons, water features, parks, sports facilities such as cycling and jogging tracks, children’s playgrounds, green spaces, innovative infrastructure and much more beyond the well-presence of residents , comfort and convenience needs.
With a gross floor area (GFA) of nearly 24 million square feet, Azizi’s multi-billion dirham plans for the sprawling land have yet to be announced.
The newly acquired land forms part of the prestigious golf district in South Dubai, strategically located in the emirate’s growth corridor, which is rapidly expanding southwards.
Situated beside the Emirates Highway (E611) which aims to connect the emirate together while also providing easy access to other major highways and various attractions in Dubai, the land is one of the best connected in the south of the emirate .
As part of the agreement, Azizi will be the master developer responsible for the construction of buildings, roads and infrastructure, its founder and chairman Mirwais Azizi said at a signing ceremony at Azizi’s booth officiated by the executive chairman of flydubai City Corporation and Dubai South Khalifa Al Zaffin.
Azizi said he was excited to start “this new Masters development journey, the growth trajectory of the next era and the development trajectory of Dubai.”
