Last Friday, Bank of America experienced an outage that caused thousands of customer inconvenient.
We interviewed a customer of Bank of America. This Nashville resident told us that she could not use the debit card from 7 o’clock this morning.
According to reports, the customer was told that the service would be available again within 90 minutes, but she said that after nearly 8 hours she still could not use her card.
“The representative told me they told her 90 minutes at 7am[.] Now, all day. She said,’Sorry, there is nothing to tell me.’ “
It wasn’t until she tried to transfer $700 from the Wells Fargo account using the Zelle app that the client realized the interruption had occurred. But the money was never deposited into her U.S. bank account.
“So I transferred money from Wells Fargo Bank, thinking I was crazy. I did it through Zelle.” She continued, “My 700 is there. It’s like, not in the well of my Fargo Bank. It’s not with BOA either.”
According to reports, she was told that once things were clarified, the funds “may” go back to her Wells Fargo account.
Currently, she still cannot use the debit card or the Zelle app.
She also said that she had not received an email about the power outage. But some people posted notices from the website on Twitter, saying that they were “aware” of these issues and were working hard”Improve the situation as soon as possible. “
People on Twitter expressed the same frustration. Someone wrote, “The app that is not Bank of America does not work and tells me that I don’t have an account with tttt.”
Another shared, “The Bank of America app will not work on all bill due dates.”
Roommates, what do you think?
