bbc studios Acquired a minority stake in Sarah Tyekiff’s unscripted production company, Mettlemouse Entertainment.
The production and distribution giant, which reported annual earnings on Tuesday, has taken a 25% stake in the company, which was founded by the former. lime picture Unscripted bosses.
Tyjieff’s credits include The Only Way Is Essex, Geordie Shore and Celebs Go Dating. She has also developed and produced a number of new formats, including “Dance Monsters” (Netflix), “Stand Up and Deliver” (Channel 4) and “Who Do You Believe” (ABC).
Before joining Lime Pictures, Tajeff was executive producer for ITV, working on a number of brands including Hell’s Kitchen and the relaunched Saturday Night Taken. She was also CEO of Love Island, helping launch the first three seasons of the hit reality show.
Mettlemouse’s Tyekiff is joined by Shaun Parry, who was Chief Creative Officer at Youngest Media after stints at Electric Ray and Endemol Shine. Parry, whose credits include Moneybags and Million Pound Menu, will serve as creative director for Mettlemouse.

Under the terms of the agreement, BBC Studios will have priority access to worldwide distribution and format rights.
BBC Studios recently acquired Voltage TV and has stakes in Expectation Entertainment and Mothership TV. The company invested in 5 independent production companies in 2022 and currently owns 14 production labels and invested in independent production companies.
