Art: Conway Arts Festival
Conway Arts Alliance to hold its 16th edition Conway Arts Festival, Saturday at Fifth Avenue Park, 573 Fifth Avenue, Conway, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The theme of this year’s festival, Unity Through Art, will include hands-on art activities; performances and workshops from local schools and arts organizations, including the Conway Elementary School Choir, Chamber Orchestra of the Conway Public Schools Orchestra, Funk Fusion Dance Company , the cast of “James and the Big Peaches” produced by the Red Curtain Theatre with members of the Conway Symphony Orchestra, members of the Light Switch Company and a petting zoo of hip-hop dance classes taught by Stage Door Dance Arts; public art demonstrations; and courtesy of Conway Kiwanis food.
