MINSK, 9 November (BelTA) – The 2nd Focus Belarus Forum dedicated to investment and business cooperation between Belarus and the UAE took place in November, BelTA has learned from the Belarusian embassy in the UAE. 9 in Dubai.
The forum brought together representatives of more than 20 Belarusian companies and about 60 UAE businesses, as well as representatives of the UAE Ministry of Economy and Dubai Exports.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates Andrey Luchenok delivered an introductory speech to the forum participants. Belarusian representatives informed the participants about the possibilities of business and investment cooperation between Belarus and the UAE, as well as the conditions for doing business and investing in Belarus.
Business negotiations on trade, economic and investment cooperation between Belarus and the UAE took place during the event. The Forum was organized with the support of the Belarusian Embassy and Consulate General in Dubai, the Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI), the State Agency for Investments and Privatization, and the Eurasian Gulf.
