After our full review of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi the other day, we sat down and thought about what our best rides at this remarkable indoor theme park are.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is certainly a dark ride paradise, featuring beautifully themed rides on a trackless ride system that takes you through numerous attractions and interactions during your journey.
The venue does have roller coasters, but we think they’re second only to the dark rides the park has to offer here, although Fast and Furry-Ous is a really fun ride indeed!
We’ve narrowed it down to four of our favorite dark rides, so without further ado, here are our top rides at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
Batman: Knight Flight

Batman: Knight Flight might just be one of the most futuristic rides we’ve ever experienced, as you sit on a robot (yes, a robot) as this armed dark ride takes you on the streets of Gotham Take a wild flight.
Combining the screen with stunning cinema-quality sets and animatronics, this state-of-the-art flight experience is truly the pinnacle of immersive storytelling.
Thinkwell Group Concept design and production of the ride was provided, this extraordinary experience immerses me in a dark ride like never before, just sitting in the arms of the robot is surreal enough without all the other things happening around!
Stepping into Wayne Tech, guests are quickly recruited by Batman Bruce Wayne for a special mission using one of his company’s new “drone-wing” crime-fighting aircraft. The Joker has once again escaped Arkham Asylum and is using some sort of suspicious “control device” to wreak havoc on the streets of Gotham. It’s up to the guests to help Batman catch the Prince of Crime, the Clown, and his merry band of supervillains, who all have some wicked tricks…
The Flintstones Bedrock River Adventure
The sign before boarding says “you might get wet” which is par for the water rides. They definitely don’t say you’re going to get completely soaked!
The Flintstones Bedrock River Adventures left us drenched after a scenic bedrock cruise.
Join Fred, Barney, Wilma and pals on this beautifully themed cruise during the Year of the Stone celebration, complete with dinosaurs, turntable sections with 270-degree screens, beautiful projections and animatronics, and a crazy final come down.
Immersive and frankly magical, I wish this boat trip lasted forever!
Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Museum
This amazing dark ride brought my childhood back to life, as this no-way experience allows you to join Scooby-doo and the gang as they solve the mysteries of the museum.
Combining classic and innovative dark ride special effects, this nifty system even lets you meet Scooby-Doo and Shaggy on their own mystery train (the same train you board to begin your journey), which is The ghost is within, it’s so clever and unique I’ve never seen this before in a dark ride as another train is chasing you through the museum in a classic hallway chase.
It’s hard to pick a favorite out of these four rides on this list, the concepts are beyond anything I’ve seen before, and how they’ve been implemented with such high quality is pretty commendable.
Many companies will cut the cost of all these experiences to offer more low-key, cost-effective options, but certainly not at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. They wanted the best and they got the best!

In a sense, this trackless ride reminds me of Batman Rider flying without arms because of the perfect combination of screen and physical setting.
Usually the screens of rides are a deal breaker for me, but when they’re included in a well themed environment, they blend in beautifully with the story and you really feel like you’re in for a ride with a difference different adventures.
Many companies advertise “seamless” integration with their dark rides.Still, for anyone who’s done a UK dark ride, e.g. Alton towers gangster granny ride, You know that sentence is absolute rubbish.

Justice League Warworld Attacks features the best dark rides in the world! The Hall of Justice themed queuing entrance building is probably one of the most impressive queuing entrances I have ever seen in my life.
