Dubai-based boutique art consultancy Skaya Art has teamed up with the newly opened Boccara Art Gallery on DIFC Gate Avenue to present a New York-influenced art exhibition. The exhibition showcases the work of two New York-based artists, Katya Leonovich and Denis Ouch. The free exhibit will run until November 21, from 10am to 10pm. Two sloth sisters have joined the sloth family at Green Planet Dubai. Visitors can get closer to these beloved animals through Green Planet’s sloth experience, allowing them to interact, take photos and learn more about the adorable species. Sloth encounters (maximum 8 participants per session) include one 30-minute session each day at 1.30pm. Guests can also attend a sloth biologist lecture at 5pm daily. Ticket prices start from AED 335 per person, including one ticket. Seats are limited, advance reservations are required.
Dubai’s largest mega-themed indoor entertainment destination, IMG Worlds of Adventure, has launched another experience with a lobby revamp to give visitors a glimpse of the dinosaurs. The new look of the IMG theme park features its lush green Amazon forest and showcases species from bygone eras such as Ankylosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Yangchuanosaurus, Allosaurus as well as Oviraptor, Carnosaurus, Carnosaurus and Dilophosaurus. Animated dinosaurs recreate an era millions of years ago using the latest technology and dynamic sound effects. Regular park admission costs AED 345.
