Beyoncé says her new album was made for people to “wiggle”.
The “Love On Top” hit producer opens up about her long-awaited album, “Renaissance,” and how she’s “escaping the scary times of the world” on it amid a global pandemic.
Beyoncé shared her striking artwork on Instagram of a holographic horse that was rarely worn: “Creating this album has given me a place to dream and find a place to escape during this horrific time in the world .
“It made me feel free and adventurous when no one else was moving.
“My purpose is to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place without perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel free. It’s a wonderful journey of discovery .”
So far, Beyoncé has released the lead single “Break My Soul,” a house track that samples Robin S.’s hits “Show Me Love” and Big Freedia’s “Explode.”
She added: “I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to unleash the swing. Ha! And feel as unique and powerful and sexy as you do.”
Robin S. learned of Beyoncé’s sampling of “Show Me Love” via social media.
The 60-year-old house music legend recently claimed that the superstar’s team hadn’t contacted her to clear samples of her ’90s hit on “Crazy in Love”.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, she said: “It doesn’t have to be confirmed. The singer knows her song.
“My son called me and he said, ‘Mom, mom, you’re popping everywhere! Beyoncé put out her song, and it’s ‘Show Me Love’ and you’re popping everywhere!”
However, she was honored to be on track with the former Destiny Child star.
When asked if she would like to work with Beyoncé, she replied: “It’s always [the] Dream. “
Robin added: “This message went to Queen Bey – herself – Beyoncé, to Jay-Z, to the whole team. Thank you so much for giving it to me while I was alive flowers.”
Beyonce will release the follow-up to 2016’s “Lemonade” on July 29.
The “Halo” producer has graced the cover of British Vogue’s July issue, with editor-in-chief Edward Enninful teasing the superstar’s future.
He wrote: “New music is coming – an exciting abundance…
“Creating is a long process, and she explained that the pandemic has given her a longer time to think and rethink every decision. As much as she likes it.”
