On Saturday, October 30 (Maradona’s birthday), EX Sports, in collaboration with World Football Collection and CV Labs, will launch the Maradona exhibition and NFT series at the Almas Convention Center in JLT.
Fans will be able to purchase up to four different items belonging to Maradona, such as the pen he used to sign the contract when he joined Naples, the jersey he wore during the 1986 World Cup, the signature footballs of Maradona and Pele, and More items.
Not only can you bid for items displayed at home, but you can also get an NFT (non-fungible token) that represents the items you own on the crypto platform.
How does this work
- Each item will be represented by the official exclusive “Platinum Edition” digital collectible NFT.
- Guests will be able to bid for platinum NFTs. The highest bidder will not only buy the NFT, but will also receive the physical objects they bid for.
- Each item will also have a limited number of “golden version” NFTs for users to bid on (the highest bidder will only receive the NFT, which themselves are collectible items).
- There will be more souvenirs and collectible NFTs in EX Sports Market, Starting in November 2021.
