Bikeera will offer Binance Pay in UAE

[ad_1]

Dubai, UAE: UAE-based Bikeera is partnering with Binance to accept payments for virtual assets on its website or in its Dubai store for bikes, scooters, electric vehicles, gear and services.

The alliance makes Bikeera one of the first companies in the UAE to accept virtual asset payments via Binance Pay, and the first bike/mobility company to offer customers the option of cryptocurrency payments.

Binance Pay is a contactless, borderless gateway on the Binance App that allows global users and merchants to spend cryptocurrencies without incurring special fees.

Bikeera said the move is aimed at helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions, carbon footprint and improve the health and lifestyle of GCC residents in light of the UAE’s COP28, which aims to promote sustainable mobility in GCC.

Binance will facilitate settlement and the crypto-to-crypto gateway will support various crypto assets such as BNB, Bitcoin and Ethereum.

With this development, Bikeera follows Majid Al Futtaim, Virtuzone, Palazzo Versace, EasyPay and other pioneering companies in the MENA region to integrate Binance Pay into their systems.

“Bikeera aims to provide sustainable mobility alternatives that promote healthy lifestyles and a better planet. By partnering with Binance, we offer our customers greater flexibility in payment methods. We are honored to have been selected One of the first companies in the program, and congratulations to Binance on its recent announcement of being awarded an MVP license from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). Bikeera CEO Anthony Boukather said this latest license is a testament to the Binance ecosystem behind the Recognition of compliance and security processes.

“Binance is committed to supporting innovative and impact-driven businesses such as Bikeera. As a leader in this space, Bikeera’s decision to accept virtual asset payments through Binance Pay supports the UAE’s sports community and contributes to the adoption of more efficient payment methods ”, said Nadeem Ladki, Executive Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Binance.
