Bill Clinton discharged from hospital after urinary system infection | News

Former US President Bill Clinton has successfully cured the infection and will return to New York to continue his recovery.

Bill Clinton has been discharged from a hospital in Southern California, where he received treatment for a urinary system infection and will return to New York to continue his recovery.

At around 8 o’clock on Sunday morning, the former president took Hillary Clinton and left the University of California Irvine Medical Center. Wearing jeans, a sports jacket, and a mask, he walked slowly out of the hospital and stopped to shake hands with the doctors and nurses lined up on the sidewalk.

When the reporter asked him how he felt, he gave a thumbs up, and then he and Hillary boarded a black SUV. They set off to the airport in a convoy escorted by the California Highway Patrol.

Bill Clinton’s “fever and white blood cell count returned to normal, and he will return to his home in New York to complete his course of antibiotics,” a Clinton spokesperson said in a statement on Twitter.

Clinton, 75, was taken to a hospital in southeastern Los Angeles on Tuesday with an infection unrelated to COVID-19. Officials said he plans to continue his recovery at his home in Chapaquah, New York.

Before he was admitted to the hospital, he had been participating in the activities of his foundation in California.

Spokesperson Angel Urena said on Saturday that Clinton will be hospitalized for another night to receive further intravenous antibiotics. But all health indicators are “developing in the right direction,” Urena said.

“President Clinton has continued to make excellent progress in the past 24 hours,” Urena said.

Hillary and her husband have been in the hospital, accompanied by her daughter Chelsea on Saturday.

President Joe Biden said on Friday night that he had spoken to Clinton and that the former president had “done his best.”

“He did a good job, he was really good,” Biden said in a speech at the University of Connecticut.

An aide to the former president said that Clinton had a urinary system infection that spread to his blood, but he is recovering and has never had a potentially life-threatening septic shock.

The assistant said in an interview with reporters at the hospital that Clinton was in the intensive care unit of the hospital but did not receive ICU care.

Since Clinton left the White House in 2001, the former president has been facing health scares.

In 2004, after experiencing prolonged chest pain and shortness of breath, he underwent quadruple bypass surgery. In 2005, he returned to the hospital to undergo surgery for partial collapse of his lungs, and in 2010 he implanted a pair of stents in the coronary arteries.

In response, he accepted a mostly vegan diet, which allowed him to lose weight and report an improvement in his health.

The Democrats served two four-year terms and were responsible for overseeing strong economic growth, while at the same time engaging in fierce political battles with Congressional Republicans.

After the Republican-controlled House of Representatives impeached him in 1998, he became the second US president to be impeached on charges of his sexual relationship with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, although he was acquitted by the Senate.

As the former governor of Arkansas, Clinton is known for combining the charm of folk customs with an in-depth understanding of policy issues. After he became president, he and Hillary moved to New York, where she served as a U.S. Senator, and then launched her own presidential campaign twice.
