BMI is developing ‘performing rights infrastructure’ in UAE with Music Nation

BMI has partnered with Music Nation to develop a “world-class performance rights infrastructure” in the United Arab Emirates.

Music Nation, the UAE-based music rights management organization, has partnered with BMI, a global leader in performance rights management, to build a world-class music licensing and royalty distribution infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates.

This effort aims to protect the rights of music creator and provide compensation for the public performance of their work, while also helping to develop and nurture the next generation of songwriters and composers in the region.

The companies will start building and implementing new infrastructure and start the licensing process in the UAE, in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The new partnership between Music Nation and BMI is part of a larger plan to create a thriving music ecosystem in the UAE to boost the region’s music industry.
