Bollywood star Ranveer Singh to perform at IIFA Awards 2023 in Abu Dhabi

Indian Actor Ranveer SinghFamous for its acting skills and stage performances, it will become one of the star attractions of this exhibition Abu Dhabi International Indian Film Academy Awardsin February.

Singh was one of the first performers announced for the two-day event, which celebrates all things Bollywood.

The IIFA Awards, which honour the best Hindi-language films and actors from the previous year, are usually held in a different city each year, but will return to Abu Dhabi next year for the second year in a row.For two days, the festivities will begin IIFA Rocks, a night dedicated to musical performances, February 10, followed by the main awards show the following evening. Singh will perform at the awards show.

As one of the highest paid actors today, Singer is also Yas Island Brand Ambassador recently brought 300 Indian fans Take a full-fare tour to explore the island’s many attractions.

“I’m delighted to be making headlines again at IIFA and I hope all who attend will be impressed,” he said. “I’m very excited about this as I’ll be performing at Yas Island, my home away from home. As a brand ambassador for such a spectacular destination, I can’t wait to tell my friends in the industry as well as those who attended the event as spectators. I’m looking forward to the most incredible IIFA experience in Yas to date as I Knowing this is going to be epic.

Singh was due to perform at the IIFA Awards earlier this year but had to withdraw due to scheduling conflicts following the event postponed to June 3 and 4 from their original May date Sheikh Khalifa’s death.

Organisers recently announced Bollywood stars Farhan Akhtar and Abhishek Bachchan Will host the evening at the February event with actor Maniesh Paul who hosted the evening earlier this year Fight alongside actors Salman Khan and Riteish Deshmukh.

IIFA Ambassador Khan will also return. Other stars confirmed to attend so far include Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, as well as director and producer Karan Johar.

“I am very excited to host the 23rd IIFA on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi,” said Bachchan, one of this year’s performers, earlier. “IIFA is like family to me. I look forward to entertaining, meeting and connecting with fans around the world.”

Akhtar, who has hosted the IIFA awards ceremony, said he was looking forward to competing in Abu Dhabi next year.

“IIFA is the only global platform that travels the world. It brings movie lovers from all over the world,” he said.

First held in London in 2000, the IIFA Awards were conceived by Mumbai-based events company Wizcraft International Entertainment and have helped boost Bollywood’s global profile.

Dubai hosted the event in 2006, as did Bangkok, New York, Colombo, Amsterdam, Madrid, Florida, Kuala Lumpur and Macau.

This year’s event, which marked the first time it was held in Abu Dhabi, was attended by more than 20,000 fans over two days, IIFA organisers said.
