Volkswagen Middle East’s charismatic crossover, the T-Roc, gets a facelift and will launch in the region in September, starting at $23,663 excluding VAT.
The T-Roc has sold more than 1 million units worldwide and was first launched in the Middle East last year as the German brand’s first compact SUV to enter the market. Featuring style, advanced design and versatility, the T-Roc has quickly become a favorite in the Middle East.
The new T-Roc will be launched with a fresh design, innovative assistance systems and upgraded digital services, demonstrating Volkswagen’s focus on software-oriented mobility and continuing the model’s success story.
three trim lines
The new T-Roc will be available in three trim lines – Life (an entry-level kit), Style (for those looking for an upgraded design and technical experience) and R-Line (for those looking for extra performance).
All trim lines of the new T-Roc feature a 1.4-litre turbocharged stratified injection (TSI) engine producing 110kW/150 HP and 250 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed gearbox. The 2023 T-Roc is the most fuel-efficient model in Volkswagen’s Middle East range, with 6.3L/100km in city and highway. Thanks to the new T-Roc’s turbocharging and direct injection, the driver enjoys maximum torque at low revs.
Technology is at the heart of the new T-Roc. All trim lines come standard with a digital cockpit, wireless app connectivity, navigation, front and rear parking sensors, and park and lane change assist (blind-spot monitors), with the option to include adaptive cruise control.
Committed to Safety
Demonstrating the brand’s commitment to safety, the new T-Roc also features an emergency assist system designed to take control of the vehicle when the driver cannot. Once the sensors detect no steering, braking or acceleration activity, the system activates various upgrades. As a first step, the system will attempt to wake the driver with steering shake and end by initiating an emergency stop.
The T-Roc has been redesigned both externally and internally. The new interior includes refined surfaces, unique seams and a modern instrument panel with a flat-panel infotainment display. A leather multifunction steering wheel is also standard, making it easier for the driver to access the vehicle’s intuitive controls.
A sharp exterior with LED headlights, darkened taillights, five new paint colors and newly designed 16- and 19-inch alloy wheel options make the new T-Roc stand out and offer customers more opportunities to customize their car.
