Sharjah: Kevin Sinclair came back with a staggering 4/24 in the third UAE match against WI ODI on Friday as West Indies came from behind to tie the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with the overall score is 184 points.
After opting to bat first in the UAE vs. WI ODI final, the hosts could only get 184 on the scoreboard despite a solid partnership between skippers Muhammad Waseem and Vriitya Aravind at the second wicket.
The duo of Muhammad Waseem and Vriitya Aravind formed a brilliant 69-run partnership and recovered their side from an early setback after opener Lovepreet Singh (3) fell in the third innings.
Waseem and Aravind thwarted the West Indian bowlers in their stands, and they looked ready to take the game away from West Indies before Raymon Reifer scored a big break for the former.

Waseem came within eight runs of what could have been a brilliant half-century and made 42 off just 34 deliveries, helped by five boundaries and two sixes.
Aravind then joined Rameez Shahzad in another major partnership for the UAE, bringing the total to 35.
Kevin Sinclair struck for West Indies, ending the budding partnership as he removed Shahzad who was caught and bowled. The right-handed hitter scored 27 runs on 40 pitches, hitting boundaries and two sixes.
Shahzad’s dismissal sparked a breakdown in the UAE’s batting line-up, with the hosts continually losing wickets at an alarming rate that saw them slip from 142/2 to 166/6, with Aravind also backed away.
He topped the UAE team with a 75-ball 70 with eight boundaries and six boundaries.
The West Indies bowlers continued their momentum and kept the wickets before eventually booking the Emirates for a meager total of 184.
Kevin Sinclair led the West Indies bowling with four wickets, followed by Yannic Cariah with two wickets.
On the other hand, Keemo Paul and Raymon Reifer each got a scalp.
