Season 3 is loosely based on Bridgerton Author Julia Quinn’s fourth book, romantic mr bridgetonwhich puts the spotlight on Penelope and Colin’s relationship.
According to the official synopsis, in the upcoming season, Penelope lets go of her longtime crush on Colin after hearing Colin’s disparaging remarks about her from the previous season. However, she had decided it was time to find a husband, preferably one who would give her enough independence to continue her double life as Mrs. Whistletown, away from her mother and sisters. But when his lessons start to get a little too good, Colin has to struggle to figure out if his feelings for Penelope are really just friendly.
