Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander has been found guilty of trespassing and battery after trying to sabotage the singer’s wedding to Sam Asgari.

Alexander, 40, did not contest the charges at a court hearing in Ventura County, California, on Thursday.

He was ordered to serve 128 days in prison.

Alexander has already served 64 days in prison and he will have to serve another 64 days, according to court files seen by PA news agency.

Alexander was initially charged with felony stalking, two misdemeanor battery, one misdemeanor vandalism and one misdemeanor trespass.

He was acquitted of felony stalking and no further misdemeanor vandalism.

He was previously arrested by officers from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and taken to the local jail.

A judge set his bail at $100,000 (£82,000) and issued a restraining order requiring him to stay at least 100 yards from the pop star for three years.

Alexander, Spears’ first husband, was called off after less than three days of marriage in 2004.

Spears, 40, and Asghari, 28, were married on June 9 at her Thousand Oaks, Calif., home to dozens of guests, including Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton and Madonna.
