Britney Spears’ father made deal with Samsung Entertainment so they could profit from the singer, lawyers say

[ad_1]

Britney Spears’ Attorney Mathew Rosengart has said the singer’s former business manager lied about his involvement in Jamie Spears’ 13-year custody of the famous singer and that he refused to provide Key documents about its behavior.

someone is obviously lying

TMZ obtained legal filings from Rosengart, in which he said Samsung Entertainment made more than $18 million during Britney’s oversight, adding that the former manager lied to a judge by claiming he was not involved in the creation of the oversight.

Britney’s dad borrows money from Samsung

The lawyer has publicly stated that he borrowed at least $40,000 from Samsung, a rather obscure company at the time, that did not represent any other celebrity, until Jamie Spears appeared in court to become his daughter’s temporary guardian.

conditional loan

Rosengart argues that the money is conditional on Jamie getting cash and Samsung getting Britney’s business.

Lawyers are seeking to get Samsung to produce all documents related to the matter, but the company wants a judge to block the move.

Samsung denies anything to do with regulation

Samsung owner Lou Taylor reportedly said his company “had no role in establishing custody of Britney Spears”.

“Samsung had no role in Ms. Spears’ affairs when this court established custody in early 2008,” Taylor’s partner Robin Greenhill said in the affidavit.

show email

Rosengart said it was untrue, referring to an email from Lou Taylor to Jamie in January 2008, before custody was established, in which she wrote, “He [attorney Andrew Wallet] Samsung will serve as CO [i.e., co-conservators] with you. “

Before establishing custody, Taylor wrote another email to another attorney, saying, “I look forward to working with you.”

Email has surfaced

A lawyer for Britney’s father emailed Taylor before going to court and establishing custody, saying: “We have a problem [the] Judge choice…the only judge who can hear our case on Friday is the only idiot [sic] This would not empower Jamie to take psychoactive drugs. “

What do they want Samsung Newspapers for?

Armed with the documents, the singer’s lawyers are trying to determine Samsung’s role, if any, in covertly monitoring Britney’s communications.

He also wanted to review TriStar’s communications with Jamie Spears regarding the latter’s conduct in regulation.

It is up to a judge to decide whether the company must hand over the documents.
