The “Abu Dhabi link” bus service operates in certain areas of Abu Dhabi and allows people to travel within these areas for free, or up to Dh2. Everything you need to know about how to ride this bus is here.
Where can I take the “Abu Dhabi link” bus?
The service operates in the following areas:
saadiyat i.
• Yas Island
• Raha
• Shama
• Bahia
The bus service runs from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm
How to book a bus on demand?
1. Download the “Abu Dhabi Link” app, available on Google Playstore and Apple Appstore.
2. Open the application. You’ll see a message pop up asking you to enable permission for the app to connect to WiFi or online data services.
3. You will then be asked to log into the application. If this is your first time using the service, click the “Don’t have an account?” link. You’ll then be asked to enter details such as your full name, email address and phone number, and to set up a password.
4. After filling in the details, click “Next” in the upper right corner of the screen. You will be asked to allow the app to use your location services, which is necessary for the app to assist you with booking services.
5. After selecting the pick-up and drop-off locations, the app will first scan the existing buses on the network and then provide you with the bus details. This includes information such as when the bus will pick you up, bus license plate number, bus ID and driver name.
How much does it cost to use the service?
Al Shahma: Dh2 every boarding.
Yas and Saadiyat Islands: According to the ITC, services in these areas are free (until further notice)
