Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Centre (CMRC) has announced a new building expansion within its hospital in Al Ain. The new building in Al Ain will add 13 inpatient wards and 15 consultation rooms for outpatient clinical services to the existing licensed capacity of 96 beds.
Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Centre has been a leader in long-term care and rehabilitation in the UAE since 2014. It is also the first Emirati brand in the healthcare sector in Saudi Arabia, with a 60-bed facility in Dammam, Eastern Province.
Amer Jeambey, Head of Healthcare Investments at Amanat and CMRC Board Member, said: “Cambridge is a cornerstone investment in Amanat Holdings’ Post-Acute Care platform. This expansion project is a testament to our commitment to the UAE market and Abu Dhabi in particular. One of many ongoing growth plans to expand Cambridge in the rest of the GCC.”

CMRC was established in 2014. Cambridge is a preeminent provider of long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation services in the UAE, introducing global, world-class interdisciplinary clinical services to patients requiring weaning from mechanical ventilation, those suffering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and Accidents, for Pediatrics, Adolescents and Adults.
CMRC provides outpatient rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, and hydrotherapy. Its facilities are accredited and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), the Joint Commission International (JCI) and CBAHI.
Cambridge has achieved successful outcomes, positively impacting the quality of life of over 1,400 inpatients and over 150,000 outpatients.
