Cancer Patients In adherence to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s directives, the UAE welcomes the sixth group of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients. The initiative aims to provide medical treatment for 1,000 injured children and 1,000 cancer patients from Gaza at UAE hospitals.
Humanitarian Operation “Gallant Knight 3”
Departing from El Arish International Airport in Egypt, the group, comprising 61 children in urgent need of medical assistance along with 71 family members, landed at Abu Dhabi International Airport. This falls under the comprehensive “Gallant Knight 3” humanitarian operation initiated on November 5 to support the Palestinian people.
Swift and Substantial Aid to Gaza: Cancer Patients
The UAE’s commitment to Gaza extends beyond medical treatment. The nation has dispatched 131 aircraft, delivering over 14,000 tonnes of food, medical, and relief supplies. A field hospital with 150+ beds has been established within Gaza, and three water desalination plants aim to provide for the drinking water needs of 300,000 people.
“Tarahum for Gaza” Campaign
In solidarity with those affected by the conflict, the UAE implemented the “Tarahum for Gaza” campaign, focusing on providing relief to vulnerable groups, especially children, women, and the elderly.
Educational Support: Welcoming Gaza Students
