Cardi B is happy to indulge her children.
The chart-topping rap star – who shares Kulture, 4, and Wave, 12 months, with her husband Offset – is determined to “play” in her adult life after struggling for money in her own childhood.
Cardi, 29 – who married Offset in 2017 – wrote on Twitter: “I know I can be a bit more in terms of my kids but I haven’t really grown up so I’m a real ball (sic)”
Cardi is now one of the best-selling artists in the world and has won many awards during her rap career.
But the “WAP” anchor previously claimed she was actually happier before she became famous.
Cardi – who worked as a stripper before her success in the music industry – said: “One positive thing is that my family, whatever they want, they get it. Everything I want to buy, I get it. I don’t have too much Worrying about my future.
“One of the negative things is that even though I’m happy, I feel like two or three years ago I have a little less money and I feel like my life has fewer people who have opinions. I feel like my life is mine.
“Now I feel like I don’t even own my life. I feel like the world owns me.”
Still, Cardi doesn’t have any plans to leave the spotlight.
“I really want to do more records, more Billboard hits,” she said.
“I might want to be in acting or designing clothes, but my real goal is to have nice kids, nice mansions, and business until I die. And then pass it on to my kids.”
