HARVEY CENIT: Cebu designer wins big at UAE fashion show

Cebu City, Philippines – Name Harvey Senet Once again making waves in the international fashion world.

Cebuano designer wins season 3 of Fashion Factor, one of the biggest fashion competitions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

“The first thing I want to say to the people who have helped me is that I am grateful for this respect. My self-confidence will be boosted by this award. I promise you that I will continue to do better in the future. Work hard,” Senit, who is now based in the UAE, wrote on his Facebook.

Cenit is currently the lead fashion designer for the UAE fashion house Al Aroosa Aniqah.

A native of the town of Medellin, north of Cebu, he graduated from the University of the Philippines Cebu (UP Cebu) with a degree in Fine Arts.

This is not the first time Senet has won an international award for his work. He was also named the Most Promising Fashion Designer of the Year at the Philippine Times Awards 2016.

Cenit has designed for celebrities such as Broadway actress Lea Salonga and beauty queens such as Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez and Maria Gigante. /rcg
