The winners of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championships (ADWPJJC) and the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF) will receive a cash prize worth US$800,000, which is the country’s governing body for the sport and has been announced.

The six-day martial arts show will bring together more than 4,000 athletes from more than 90 countries, including youth, adult and master groups of different belt levels. In the adult category, the brown belt champion will win cash prizes of US$6,000, US$3,000 and US$1,500 for the first three positions, while the black belt champion will receive cash prizes of US$10,000, US$5,000 and US$3,000.

The male master group 1 only allows black belt holders over 30 years old to participate, and the bonus is divided into 6,000 US dollars, 3,000.00 US dollars and the top three 1,500 US dollars. Participants in the adult female category will receive cash prizes of US$6,000, US$3,000 and US$1,500. The top three prizes are fixed.

The number of ADWPJJC registrations has soared, so far the registration rate of all categories has reached 90%. The increase in registrations indicates that the region’s enthusiasm for the sport is growing rapidly and has ensured the champion’s undisputed position on the global Jiu-Jitsu calendar.

HE Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Deputy Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation said: “The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation has set a bonus of 3 million dirhams for the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship. This demonstrates our commitment to ensuring our Jiu-Jitsu genius Get rewards in the way they deserve. We have a responsibility to do everything we can to develop the sports skills of our youth and communities.
