Changes in holdings of the company’s shares
The second tranche of the Ruby Games acquisition (announced on August 12, 2021) was completed on October 27, 2022, with Rovio Entertainment Corporation acquiring a 50% stake in Ruby Games for a total consideration of $32.8 million, including cash payments $19.7 million and $13.1 million from existing Rovio shares. Rovio’s ownership of Ruby Games thus increased to 70%.
As part of the consideration, the number of existing Rovio shares transferred on October 31, 2022 is 2,355,067 shares.
After the transfer, Rovio holds a total of 5,856,349 own shares.
